ISAS, along with the help of ORIAS, organizes a week long Summer Institute for K-12 and community college teachers -- mostly from World History classrooms. Teachers come to build up their international studies content knowledge for teaching and building curriculum. They look for stories, images, resources, and ideas to enrich their own content background and liven up the World History classroom beyond the textbook. It is generally attended by about 40 enthusiastic and bright teachers - very appreciative of the chance to hear from scholars in world areas. They are great fun to work with.

If you are interested in participating in future institutes, please contact Shane Carter, the ORIAS coordinator.
